Where

1999 pre-season training we all went to Nigel Mansell's hotel in Exeter.
One day Egil decided to give us all a day off, so all the lads decided
to have a round of golf. I ended up smashing the window of a golf
buggy, nearly killing Kenny Cunningham with a drive that was inches
from his head. Then, on the next drive I smashed my ball against a
tree & it flew back at me and ended up 25 yards behind my original
position. Watching all this was Carl Leaburn and Marcus Gayle who
started singing the 'Wild Thing' song and it just stuck from that
day. The name kinda suits me and I don't mind it. |

Yes, I remember the careers teacher coming to see us at school - he
said I needed to set my sights on something realistic. |

Is

I would have loved to have followed in my Mum's footsteps as a singer.
She sang professionally and was offered a record deal by EMI records
but turned it down and married my Dad. I'm the lead singer in a band
with Trond (guitar) and the groundsman Chris Perry, and we are sounding
OK after only 3 months together. We haven't got a name yet though! |
